We are looking to hire a skilled and experienced

Mechanical Technician

for a short-term project at Ras Laffan. The successful candidate will join the workshop team and will be responsible for fabrication and installation activities related to piping and structural works as per site requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate and install general supports, pipe supports, and structural elements as per specifications Carry out maintenance and mechanical works in compliance with safety and quality standards Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication details Operate standard mechanical tools and equipment safely and effectively Assist in day-to-day mechanical operations and workshop tasks Ensure work is completed within project timelines

Requirements:

Minimum

5 years of experience

as a Mechanical Technician in the

Oil & Gas industry

or with

major utilities

Proven experience in workshop fabrication and on-site mechanical installations Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications Valid trade certificate(s) relevant to the position Physically fit and able to work in industrial environments

Basic English communication skills

required (verbal and written)
