Mechanical Technician

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, machines, and equipment Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical assets such as pumps, motors, valves, compressors, fans, and piping systems Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical components and systems Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals Operate hand and power tools, welding equipment, and measuring instruments Follow maintenance schedules and document completed work in logs or CMMS (if applicable) Ensure mechanical systems meet quality and safety standards Collaborate with electrical and HVAC teams when needed Report any unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a mechanical technician (UAE/GCC experience preferred) Good understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, pumps, piping, etc.) Ability to read mechanical drawings and manuals Familiarity with preventive and breakdown maintenance procedures Experience using mechanical tools and testing equipment Good communication and teamwork skills Willing to work in shifts or on-call, including weekends or holidays if required Basic English communication; Arabic is a plus
