Job Overview

Island Tower Electromechanical Works LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Mechanical Team Lead

to manage and guide a team of site engineers and technicians for

civil infrastructure and MEP projects

in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a proven record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and mentor site engineers and technical staff across active projects. Plan, coordinate, and oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and firefighting systems. Review project drawings, BOQs, and schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and other teams to ensure smooth project progress. Manage manpower allocation, resources, and project timelines effectively. Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to

safety and quality standards

. Provide detailed project reports and updates to senior management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

or equivalent.

Graduated before 2015

with at least

10 years of relevant experience

. Strong exposure to

civil works, infrastructure projects, and MEP execution

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

; experience gained in

India is preferred

. Excellent

leadership and commanding skills

with the ability to multitask and handle complex projects. Strong communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of local safety regulations and quality control procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP or equivalent project management certification. Familiarity with Revit, Primavera, or other project management/design software is an advantage.
