Job Description
A Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
with5 to 10 years of experience
in mechanical maintenance is required. The candidate should hold aDiploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
, along with strong technical experience. The role involves leading a team of fitters, welders, and helpers to ensure that all mechanical work inside anoil refinery or chemical plant
is carried out safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the daily work of fitters, welders, and helpers Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance Maintain and repair all types of pumps (centrifugal, vacuum, gear, booster, etc.), motors, boilers, compressors, chillers, gearboxes, blowers, valves, and other plant equipment Manage spare parts inventory and request reorders when needed Ensure all tools, lifting equipment, and forklifts are in good working condition Maintain daily maintenance logbooks and prepare monthly reports Follow all safety procedures and the work permit system Support plant shutdowns, small project works, and team training initiatives
Skills Required:
Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience Good leadership and team management abilities Basic computer skills (email, Excel, report preparation, etc.) SAP knowledge is an added advantage Good communication and problem-solving skills
