  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance teams and contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution.
  • Act as the "gatekeeper" for scope changes, additions, or deletions, managing associated documentation and approvals.
  • Monitor and track work progress against schedules, reporting deviations and corrective actions to management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues or delays during outage execution to maintain schedule integrity.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure all work meets mechanical and nuclear quality standards.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, daily briefings, and safety connects to reinforce safe work practices.
  • Document maintenance and inspection results, ensuring accurate reporting and traceability.
  • Participate in post-outage reviews, compiling performance reports and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all project documentation and close-out records are completed, verified, and archived appropriately.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
  • Minimum 7-10 years' experience in mechanical maintenance, shutdowns, or outages within nuclear, power generation, or heavy industrial facilities.
  • Proven experience in a nuclear power plant or other high-safety regulated environment (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of turbines, pumps, valves, piping, and heat exchangers.
  • Experience in planning, executing, and closing out complex mechanical outage projects.
  • Familiarity with nuclear safety culture, radiological protection, and QA/QC standards.
  • Proficient in using CMMS systems such as SAP or Maximo (preferred).
