Job Description

We are hiring an experienced

Mechanical Supervisor

for a

hospital maintenance facility

. The role involves supervising

mechanical, electrical, and civil maintenance activities

to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical hospital systems.

Candidates must hold a

Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering

and have

strong hospital and service-sector maintenance experience

.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise

day-to-day maintenance operations

in hospital facilities Coordinate

mechanical, electrical, and civil maintenance works

Ensure smooth operation of

HVAC systems, pumps, plumbing, utilities, and basic electrical systems

Plan and execute

preventive & corrective maintenance schedules

Attend and resolve

breakdowns and emergency maintenance issues

Supervise technicians, helpers, and external contractors Assign daily work, monitor progress, and ensure quality completion Ensure compliance with

hospital safety standards, infection control protocols, and SOPs

Conduct routine inspections of plant rooms, equipment, and service areas Maintain maintenance records, logs, and reports Ensure proper use of

PPE and safe work practices

Coordinate with hospital administration and other departments

Mandatory Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering - Mandatory

(Candidates without a diploma will not be considered)

Experience Requirements

Minimum 5 years of total experience in service-sector maintenance

At least 3 years of hospital maintenance experience - Mandatory

Experience in

healthcare facilities, hospitals, FM companies, or commercial buildings

Experience supervising

multi-disciplinary maintenance teams

Technical Knowledge Required

Hospital HVAC and ventilation systems Pumps, motors, plumbing & water systems Basic electrical systems coordination Civil maintenance (minor repairs, finishing, inspections) Preventive maintenance planning Breakdown troubleshooting Safety procedures and permit systems

Skills & Competencies

Strong supervisory and leadership skills Ability to work under pressure in critical environments Good communication and coordination skills Problem-solving attitude Basic computer skills for reports and logs

Pay: QAR5,500.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
