Mechanical Supervisor
Job Description
To supervise and coordinate mechanical works related to solar panel installation, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise daily mechanical activities for solar panel installation, including mounting structures, cabling support, and mechanical fittings.Ensure all work is performed according to approved drawings, standards, and safety procedures.Coordinate with site engineers and technicians to meet project timelines.Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of mechanical works.Identify and resolve on-site technical issues promptly.Prepare daily progress reports and submit to the site management team.Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.Support commissioning activities and perform final quality checks.
Requirements:Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, preferably in solar panel or renewable energy projects.Strong understanding of mechanical installation processes for solar PV systems.Good knowledge of safety rules and site procedures.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
Experience working in Qatar or GCC is an advantage.
