Summary:

The Mechanical Supervisor oversees and coordinates the mechanical maintenance, installation, and repair activities of machinery, equipment, and systems. They ensure that all mechanical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead mechanical technicians, fitters, and maintenance crews in day-to-day operations. Plan, assign, and review mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation tasks. Ensure adherence to safety procedures, quality standards, and environmental regulations. Coordinate with other departments (electrical, production, civil, etc.) to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance. Prepare maintenance schedules, work orders, and equipment inspection plans. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures in pumps, compressors, conveyors, valves, piping systems, and other mechanical equipment. Review technical drawings, specifications, and manuals to guide maintenance or installation work. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment history. Assist in budget preparation, cost control, and procurement of mechanical tools and materials. Conduct toolbox talks and provide technical training to subordinates. Ensure proper implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Report progress, issues, and corrective actions to management.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum

5+ years of Gulf experience

in maintenance, including experience in a

supervisory role.

Must hold a

Diploma

in the relevant technical category. Must have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, fault identification, and on-site repair activities. Must provide

previous experience certificates

for verification. Must possess

good communication skills in English

(verbal and written).

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,300.00 per month
