Mechanical Supervisor
Job Description
Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)
Food, Accommodation & Transportation: Provided
Work Schedule: 10 Hours / Day | 6 Days / Week
Visa: Must have valid QID under freelance visa
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 10 years total experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Power Plant projects
At least 8 years as a Mechanical Supervisor
Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, alignment, and commissioning
Excellent communication skills in English
LNG project experience preferred
Job Responsibilities
Supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for mechanical equipment such as compressors, pumps, fans, coolers, heat exchangers, vessels, tanks, HVAC, firefighting, and lifting equipment.
Lead and coordinate mechanical teams (foreman, technicians, millwrights, helpers) ensuring work completion on schedule.
Review and interpret P&ID, GA, and mechanical drawings.
Perform inspections, site readiness, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.o Report daily progress to Mechanical/Lead Engineers and highlight site issues
.o Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and equipment.
Experience in preparing procedures and method statements for mechanical systems is an advantage.
