QA/QC Mechanical Inspector

Qualifications:



Higher National Diploma (HND) or Diploma in a relevant engineering field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas in Qatar.

Technical Knowledge & Experience:



Codes & Standards: ASME Section I, VIII, XI; ANSI B31.1 / B31.4 / B31.8; NACE; API 610, 613, 616, 617, 620, 650, 682; AWS D1.1.

Hands-on experience with process equipment internals, installations, static & rotating equipment erection, alignment, and testing activities.

Certifications in NDT or Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT).

Knowledge of SMACNA (Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning National Association) codes, Uniform Mechanical Code, NFPA 90A, ASHRAE standards.

Experience in HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:



Inspect mechanical installations and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Monitor erection, alignment, and testing of mechanical systems and equipment.

Perform or review NDT and PWHT activities as per project requirements.

Ensure HVAC systems and sheet metal works meet industry standards.
