We are constantly growing and are currently looking for two (2) experienced and reliable Mechanical Procurement Engineer to join a top qualified and knowledgeable Procurement Team in the Salt Domes in United Arab Emirates.

Role summary:

You will be working within our international Supply Chain team participating in the assigned project\'s works and services to ensure all deliverables are delivered as per the Procurement Plan requirements (Timeline, Pricing, Documentation).

What you will need to do:
  • Oversee the procurement process for mechanical materials (pipes, valves, fittings, seals, tubes, compressors, fans, flanges, pumps and related materials etc.), ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to stay updated on emerging materials, technologies, and supplier capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify precise material requirements and technical specifications for various Items.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals Both technical & Commercial to ensure full compliance with Project Requirements &General Terms & Conditions
  • Negotiate the contracts to secure competitive prices and maintain quality standards.
  • Post Orders activities including expediting during the detail design, Manufacturing and Logistics
  • Conduct thorough inspections of procured materials to ensure they meet the required specifications and industry standards
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to streamline procurement process & operations.
What you will need to have:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years experience in EPC projects
  • Oil &Gas experience is a must (ADNOC/ARAMCO experience is highly preferable)
  • Experience in dealing with suppliers & sub-contractors; strong negotiation skills
  • Experience in mechanical equipment (pipes, valves, fittings, seals, tubes, compressors, fans, flanges, pumps and related materials etc.) is a must.
  • Professional knowledge in ERP Procurement software as part of your prior experience
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-specific procurement regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while demonstrating strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Excellent English command (written and oral)
  • Computer literacy, including use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) for generating reports, analyzing data, and creating presentations
