We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Mechanical Planning Engineer

to join our dynamic project team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical project planning and execution, with hands-on experience in construction, MEP, or oil & gas projects in the UAE. Immediate availability is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to monitor project progress. Develop baseline programs, recovery plans, and lookahead schedules. Track project milestones and update progress reports regularly. Conduct resource and cost loading as per project requirements. Analyze project delays and prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims if necessary. Review subcontractor schedules and integrate them into the master schedule. Ensure alignment of actual project progress with planned timelines. Coordinate with procurement and engineering departments to ensure timely material and drawing submissions. Participate in project review meetings and client presentations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE (construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas preferred). Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel. Strong understanding of project planning methodologies and delay analysis. Familiar with UAE local regulations and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP Certification or Primavera P6 Professional Certification is an advantage. Prior experience with ADNOC, DEWA, RTA, or other major UAE clients is a plus. Knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM tools, or project management software is a plus.
