Mechanical Planner
Job Description
JOB PROFILE/MISSION . Define the detailed methodology for carrying out all the jobs according to priorities, and the required resources, skills, coordination and supervision . Implement safety and environment regulations . Ensure that all the necessary materials are available for the planned operations and meet the required quantity and quality. . Prepare time and cost estimates for work orders and job plans to help optimizing resources allocation. . Develop detailed job-plans for important maintenance operations (technically and / or financially important), . Draw up regular inventories of the spare parts and ensure their availability in co-ordination with the warehouse. . Manage and improve the use of management tools, procedures and methodologies for maintenance . Handle all the work requests received by the department and verification for information accuracy . Organize the equipment downtime for maintenance activities in coordination with production department . Maintain department records and statistics . Draw up the technical specifications for the purchase of the spare parts . Reduction of the number and duration of stoppages
