Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Foreman to join our team.
The Mechanical Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all mechanical works at site, ensuring activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, project schedule, and safety standards. He leads site technicians and workers to deliver quality work within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily mechanical installation works (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, or other mechanical systems as applicable).
Allocate manpower and assign tasks to technicians and laborers.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and method statements.
Ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Coordinate with site engineers, QA/QC, safety officers, and other trades.
Monitor work progress and report daily activities to the site engineer.
Identify material requirements and coordinate with store/engineer for timely availability.
Inspect completed works and rectify any defects or non-conformities.
Assist in testing, commissioning, and handing over of mechanical systems.
Ensure housekeeping and proper use of tools and equipment at site.
Qualifications & Experience:
Digree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Foreman in construction projects.
Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial, or industrial projects preferred.
Knowledge of local authority requirements (e.g., DEWA, Civil Defense, Consultant standards).

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
