Job Title: Mechanical Foreman
Job Summary
The Mechanical Foreman is responsible for supervising all mechanical works on site and ensuring installations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with approved drawings and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting).
Assign daily tasks to technicians and monitor productivity and workmanship.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and layouts.
Ensure works are executed as per approved shop drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with engineers, civil teams, and other trades to avoid clashes.
Monitor materials, tools, and manpower requirements.
Inspect completed works and rectify defects or issues.
Ensure site safety procedures and housekeeping standards are followed.
Report daily progress and challenges to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Mechanical Foreman or similar site-based role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and site installation practices.
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
Good leadership and team supervision skills.
Knowledge of site safety rules and regulations.
