Job Description

A Mechanical Foreman supervises a team of mechanics, directing daily installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery/systems (like HVAC, piping) on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency by planning tasks, managing materials, interpreting drawings, coordinating with other trades, and enforcing safety protocols to meet project goals and budgets.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise crews installing HVAC and piping systems on commercial projects. Coordinate with project managers, customers, building officials, and other trades. Manage material handling, scheduling, documentation, and project milestones. Ensure safety compliance and promote company tool policies and standards. Install HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and related materials as needed. Complete required reports, project updates, and safety documentation. Perform duties safely from ladders, lifts, and other elevated equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum

5 years of experience

as a Mechanical Foreman in commercial/industrial construction. Proven ability to lead teams of 5+ direct reports. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
