Job Description

Responsibilities: Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred, with relevant experience in mechanical estimating. Proficiency in accurate estimation for structure fabrication, erection, supply, piping, and pipeline works. Strong understanding of fabrication, erection processes, material analysis, and labor and equipment estimation. In-depth knowledge of piping and pipeline systems, including interpreting engineering designs and estimating material quantities and installation costs. Experience in preparing tenders, analyzing market rates, organizing documentation, and meeting deadlines. Up-to-date knowledge of market rates for materials, labor, and equipment in the mechanical construction industry. Attention to detail in reviewing project plans and specifications, identifying discrepancies, and estimating quantities, costs, and timelines. Proficiency in using estimation software, spreadsheets, and industry-standard tools like Excel and AutoCAD. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet tender submission deadlines. Analytical thinking to analyze complex project requirements, break them down, and estimate costs and resources accordingly. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and ensure accurate and comprehensive estimations and tender submissions. Problem-solving aptitude for finding innovative solutions and risk assessment during the estimation process. Adaptability to changing project requirements, market conditions, and industry trends. Maintain professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct while handling sensitive project information and interacting with stakeholders.
