Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in mechanical estimating

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Mechanical Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical projects in the Oil & Gas and construction sectors. The ideal candidate will analyze project plans, collaborate with engineers, and utilize estimating software to ensure competitive and precise bid proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze project plans and specifications to create detailed cost estimates.

- Collaborate with engineers and proposal managers to define scope of work.

- Review technical specifications, drawings, and schematics.

- Prepare RFQs, evaluate vendor quotations, and select materials/equipment.

- Submit bid proposals and monitor project progress for cost adherence.

- Support project implementation to ensure alignment with estimates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

- Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office.

- Strong analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manage multiple deadlines.

- Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASME, API).
