General Requirements / Mechanical Engineer

Minimum of 5 years of practical experience, with at least 3 years within the Emirate of Sharjah. Proficiency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written. Bachelor's degree in the relevant field from a recognized university, with proper attestation of certificates as required. Strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, and capacity to work under pressure. Commitment to local and international regulations and standards related to the field of expertise. Proficiency in using engineering and technical software relevant to the specialty.
Specific Requirements:

Proven experience in the design and execution of:
o HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)

o Water supply and drainage networks

o Firefighting systems (Sprinklers & Fire Fighting)

Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IPC. Proficiency in design and thermal calculation software such as AutoCAD, HAP, Revit MEP. Ability to:
o Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical specifications

o Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, architectural, and structural disciplines

Experience in supervising subcontractors and inspecting mechanical systems Capability to propose energy-saving solutions and sustainability techniques is a strong advantage.
