Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Mechanical Engineer (Testing & Commissioning)

for a contract role based in

Lusail, Qatar

. The ideal candidate will have at least

5 years of relevant experience

in mechanical systems testing and commissioning, particularly in building services, infrastructure, or large-scale projects. This position is critical to ensuring that all mechanical systems are tested, commissioned, and handed over in accordance with project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and execute mechanical systems testing and commissioning activities. Conduct inspections and functional performance testing of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems. Ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and international standards. Identify and resolve issues found during the commissioning process. Collaborate closely with design, construction, and quality teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Prepare and maintain comprehensive testing and commissioning reports and documentation. Attend site meetings and provide technical input as required. Assist in the development and implementation of commissioning schedules and plans.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

or a related field. Minimum

5 years of experience

in mechanical testing and commissioning. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.). Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents. Proficiency in using testing instruments and reporting tools. Must have a valid

Freelancer Visa

(Qatar). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Immediate availability preferred.
