to join our team for a 4-month contract in Lusail, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems in large-scale infrastructure or building projects and must hold a valid freelancer visa.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems including LV, MV equipment, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure timely and successful commissioning.
Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, reports, and test results.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety protocols, and regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during commissioning.
Support inspections and approvals by consultants and authorities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical testing and commissioning.
Strong knowledge of LV and MV systems, protection systems, and instrumentation.
Familiarity with international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
Proficient in using testing tools and equipment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have a valid
freelancer visa
in Qatar.
Available to work 10 hours/day, 6 days/week.
