to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design, execution, and maintenance of mechanical systems for swimming pools, spas, and water features. This includes filtration systems, pump room design, HVAC coordination, heating and cooling systems, hydraulics, and MEP integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and engineer mechanical systems for swimming pools, spas, fountains, and water features in compliance with international standards and local regulations.
Prepare technical drawings, schematics, hydraulic calculations, and detailed specifications for mechanical pool systems.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, civil, electrical, and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of pool systems.
Conduct site visits for inspections, installation supervision, and testing & commissioning of pool systems.
Select and specify appropriate pumps, filters, heat exchangers, control panels, chlorination systems, UV systems, etc.
Develop operation and maintenance manuals and provide training to facility management teams.
Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and propose solutions for existing pool systems.
Ensure quality control, adherence to safety standards, and sustainability practices during the project lifecycle.
Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to stay updated with the latest technologies in the pool industry.
Provide technical support during the bidding phase including material take-offs, costing, and technical submittals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of proven experience in swimming pool and water feature systems.
In-depth knowledge of pool mechanical equipment, hydraulic calculations, and water treatment processes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and engineering software.
Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ANSI/APSP, BS EN, FINA) and local building codes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and project coordination skills.
PMP certification or similar is a plus.
Preferred Certifications:
Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
LEED Certification (optional)
Health & Safety Training (OSHAD, NEBOSH, etc.)
