ZAD Studio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Mechanical Engineer - Supervision

to oversee the mechanical execution of high-end luxury residential projects in Dubai. This is a

site-based role

that requires hands-on supervision, technical expertise, and excellent coordination skills with contractors and consultants.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

8+ years of experience

in mechanical engineering supervision, preferably within the

luxury residential sector

Strong understanding of

HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, LPG systems

Solid knowledge of

building codes, local regulations, and construction processes

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Skilled in reviewing and understanding construction drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and submittals Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage the on-site execution of all

mechanical systems

, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and LPG Review and approve contractor submissions such as:

Shop drawings

Material submittals

Subcontractor pre-qualifications

Method statements

RFIs

Coordinate mechanical work with other disciplines (civil, electrical, architectural) Manage and process

Work Inspection Requests (WIRs)

within project deadlines Attend and witness

testing and commissioning

activities to ensure compliance with approved design parameters and specifications Interpret construction drawings and contract documents prior to execution Conduct regular meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project progression Support the

Project Manager

and

Resident Engineers

with technical guidance related to mechanical systems Review and verify IFC (Issued For Construction) documents and ensure full compliance with project scope and contract requirements Follow up and assist with obtaining

authority approvals

for mechanical systems
