Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Mechanical Engineer
for a project inDelma Island, Abu Dhabi Western Region
.The role requires the engineer to be stationed on-site for the duration of the project.
The candidate will supervise HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Sewage Treatment, and Fire Detection & Protection systems, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.Key Responsibilities
Review and approve contractor submissions for site execution. Review and comment on value engineering proposals. Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, vendors, and design departments; attend site meetings. Compile and review contractor documents for authority submissions and project close-out. Review and approve variation claims, cost savings, and periodical payment certificates.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5 years' experience in MEP supervision. Hands-on experience in HVAC, water supply & drainage, fire protection, and specialized mechanical systems (e.g., LPG, swimming pools, water treatment plants). Knowledge of specialized inspections (e.g., radiography, water quality tests) and local/international codes. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Note:
This is an on-site position in Delma Island, Abu Dhabi Western Region. Only candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
