Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

Mechanical Engineer

to design, install, and maintain mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. The ideal candidate will coordinate with project teams, ensure compliance with UAE codes and international standards, manage equipment installation, and optimize system performance for safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise installation works on-site to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications. Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of mechanical works. Verify all mechanical systems comply with UAE regulations and international standards. Conduct site inspections, system commissioning, and performance testing. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation or operation. Optimize system performance, energy efficiency, and develop preventive maintenance plans. Prepare technical reports and maintain documentation of design calculations, drawings, installation progress, and test results. Assist in final system commissioning and provide operational training to clients. Monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of mechanical works.

HSE Responsibilities:

Implement safety and quality standards during all mechanical works. Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventive measures to mitigate hazards. Safely handle and dispose of chemicals, refrigerants, and other hazardous materials.

Contractors, subcontractors, and clients

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in mechanical systems design, installation, and maintenance in construction projects. Strong knowledge of UAE codes and international mechanical standards. Proficiency with design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HVAC simulation tools). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and project budgets efficiently.
