Lead the planning, design, and execution of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, equipment installation, etc.).
Review and approve mechanical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site teams.
Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and project specifications.
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and material submittals for approval.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
Conduct site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and progress of mechanical works.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution.
Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation for management review.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
Minimum
5-12 years
of relevant experience in [Construction / MEP
Strong knowledge of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, piping, and related mechanical systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant mechanical design software.
Familiarity with international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, ASME, etc.).
Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
