This role requires a combination of engineering expertise and practical knowledge to ensure the successful development and execution of pergola projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of pergola designs, including structural integrity, material selection, and system integration, ensuring that all works are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:Design & Engineering:
Design Development:
Collaborate with architects, designers, and other engineers to develop detailed designs for pergola structures, considering mechanical load-bearing requirements, environmental factors, and aesthetic considerations.
Material Selection:
Recommend and select appropriate materials (steel, aluminum, wood, composite materials) based on project requirements, including durability, cost-effectiveness, and maintenance needs.
CAD Modeling:
Create 3D models, detailed schematics, and technical drawings of pergola components using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
Project Management:
Project Coordination:
Oversee the scheduling and coordination of pergola projects, ensuring alignment between design, engineering, and construction teams.
Budget Management:
Assist in preparing cost estimates, monitor material usage, and help ensure that projects stay within budget.
Vendor Coordination:
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers for the procurement of materials, components, and equipment, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct inspections during the manufacturing and construction phases to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Site Supervision:
Provide technical oversight during the installation of pergolas on-site, ensuring that installation teams follow engineering guidelines and resolve any mechanical issues that arise during the process.
Troubleshooting & Support:
Technical Support:
Provide troubleshooting expertise for mechanical or structural issues during installation or post-installation of pergolas.
Maintenance Guidelines:
Develop maintenance schedules and user guides for mechanical systems integrated into pergola designs, ensuring longevity and functionality over time.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 years of experience Home country.
Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
