Structural design and development of tower crane components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with defined static conditions, load cases, and international design standards (EN, ISO, FEM).
Creation of 3D CAD models, production drawings, and bills of materials to support manufacturing and assembly.
Maintenance and management of technical master data in PDM, ERP, and related systems.
Support for serial production, including design optimization, cost reduction, and coordination with manufacturing, quality, and service departments.
Contribution to R&D and continuous improvement projects focusing on crane performance, safety, and manufacturability.
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Eng.), with a focus on steel structures, machine design, or mechanical construction.
4-5 years of experience in design and development of tower cranes, lifting equipment, or heavy mechanical/steel structures -- experience in the crane or heavy-equipment industry is a must.
Strong proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably Solid Edge), PDM (Teamcenter), ERP (SAP*), and MS Office. In-depth understanding of welded steel design, manufacturing methods, and fatigue/stress analysis principles.
Excellent written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage.
Proactive, structured, and collaborative working style with high attention to detail.
