Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review
BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
, cost estimates, and tender documents for mechanical systems.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements to ensure accurate material take-offs and cost control.
Support project teams with
cost analysis, variations, and claims
.
Collaborate with design and construction teams to provide technical input and resolve quantity-related issues.
Ensure compliance with
UAE codes, standards, and authority requirements
.
Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize project cost and efficiency.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for client and internal reviews.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
(mandatory).
2 to 5 years of experience, with proven exposure to
Quantity Surveying
and cost management.
Previous experience in Abu Dhabi (preferred).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost estimation tools.
Strong understanding of
UAE authority requirements
and construction practices.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
