About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated

Mechanical Engineer

with a strong background in

Quantity Surveying

to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical engineering design, estimation, and cost management, with the ability to work effectively across project phases from tendering to execution.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review

BOQs (Bill of Quantities)

, cost estimates, and tender documents for mechanical systems. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements to ensure accurate material take-offs and cost control. Support project teams with

cost analysis, variations, and claims

. Collaborate with design and construction teams to provide technical input and resolve quantity-related issues. Ensure compliance with

UAE codes, standards, and authority requirements

. Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize project cost and efficiency. Prepare technical reports and documentation for client and internal reviews.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

(mandatory). 2 to 5 years of experience, with proven exposure to

Quantity Surveying

and cost management. Previous experience in Abu Dhabi (preferred). Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost estimation tools. Strong understanding of

UAE authority requirements

and construction practices. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
