Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance and installation of equipment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, pumps, compressors, turbines, and other machinery. Experience with preventive maintenance techniques, mechanical system design, and repairs. Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and propose effective solutions. Proficiency in using mechanical design and simulation software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Knowledge of industry standards and safety codes. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to lead and work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend operational life. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to guide installation and maintenance activities. Supervise and manage installation projects, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, timelines, and budgets. Perform regular inspections and audits of machinery to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely. Coordinate with electrical engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians. Prepare detailed reports and documentation for all mechanical maintenance and installation work. Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
