Job Description
- An Energy and Sustainability Professional with more than 10 years of experience in the field.
- Well versed in Energy Management, Analysis, Optimization and Commissioning, ESG Reporting, Integrated Reporting, Life Cycle Costing, Life Cycle Analysis, and Circular Economy
- Working experience on Greenhouse gas emissions calculations and scenario modelling for net zero strategies
- Working experience on Sustainability measurement, assessment tools and methodologies related to the United Nation\xe2\x80\x99s Sustainable Development Goals
- Well versed with ESG and Decarbonization standards- GRI, SASB, TCFD Reporting.
- Worked in around 75 construction projects for green building compliances and certifications and more than 20 environmental impact studies and auditing projects,
- Actively involved in facilitation of many international and local green building certification processes, energy audits, commissioning management, etc
- Well versed with Green Building Certification requirements for all the local and international sustainability standards like LEED, EHS Trakhees Green Building Regulations, Dubai Municipality Green Building Regulation, and Estidama.
- Worked closely with the Clients and Consultants as Sustainability Consultant, and as Sub contractor for the Main Contractor.
- Managed more than 50 green building projects as Energy and Sustainability Manager, coordinated with Clients, Consultants, Contractors and internal team members of MEP Engineers, Environmental Engineers, Energy Modellers, Commissioning Managers and Engineers, and Lighting Simulation Engineers, Specialists.
- Represent the Firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members concerning MEP systems.
- Performed inspections and witnessing of testing & commissioning of MEP systems as per the existing standard and safety code to make sure it is safe for people to use.
- A multi skilled manager to oversee and manage T&C of the entire MEP systems.
- Possess the technical expertise needed to handle all of the various problems, issues and emergencies that may arise in relation to MEP systems.
- Conduct meetings with the contractors and supervising consultants regarding the work progress and resolving any concerns/problems at the site.
- Ensure effective implementation of the T&C Plan by overseeing the site.
- Supervision Consultant witnessing and inspection of T&C activities and ensure that all required documentations are in place.
- Witness the T&C on-site test to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the reports.
- Keeps well informed on current technology applicable to area of expertise.
- Able to review/comment on instrument engineering control systems like P&IDs, Network Architecture, Instrument Specifications, Loops and Schematics, Control Panel Layouts, Instrument location layout drawings, cable block diagram and cable schedule, control room layout drawings, control schematic diagram-control and logic diagram for any control system equipment.
- Ability to Review Commissioning Plan, Shop Drawing, Method Statement, Equipment Tracking Sheet, Building Log Book (BLB), MEP Related Material Submittal, O+M Manuals
- Support Consulting Engineers and Customers in Building Simulation analysis.
- Re-commissioning the MEP systems to ensure efficiency of the systems
- Conducting commissioning activity for LEED buildings
- Skilled in drafting building system commissioning plans and test procedures
- Ability to review construction drawings and equipment
- Capable of conducting site visits and draft progress reports
- Al Satwa: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
