CONTEXT



Mechanical Engineer (HVAC & Cooling Systems)

MISSIONS/MAIN DUTIES



Responsible for the design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure all HVAC deisgn comply with Dubai Municipality/DEWA/ and other relevant local and international standards.
Supervise Back of house design work.
Coordinate with multidisciplinery teams to resolve clashes, ensure spatial planning, and integrate sustainable energy- efficient solutions.

PROFILE/SKILLS

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Relevant certifications are advantageous

Experience:

Minimum 8 years of experience in design of HVAC and cooling systems, preferably for metro rail or large infrastructure projects.

Background:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of HVAC system components (chillers, AHUs, ductwork, etc.), BIM/design software proficiency, experience with Dubai's regulatory processes, and BIM/design tool proficiency required.
Successful track record on rail and metro projects.
Ability to lead, develop and motivate a team.
Preferably with UAE experience, GCC experience would be advantageous.
