We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our infrastructure mechanical department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of project estimation, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in our bids.
Key Responsibilities:-
Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimations for various mechanical infrastructure projects.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and required materials.
Collaborate with the project management and engineering teams to develop a clear understanding of project requirements.
Utilize specialized software, including AutoCAD, Planswift, and Revit, to prepare and quantify project takeoffs.
Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.
Maintain and update a database of costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Review and submit final bids and proposals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a distinction.
Proven experience in estimation for mechanical projects, preferably within the UAE or GCC region
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Planswift, and Revit is essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
