Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to oversee and execute mechanical systems in our construction projects. The role involves design review, planning, site supervision, quality control, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure mechanical works are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret mechanical design drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs. Plan and supervise installation of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems. Coordinate with architects, civil, electrical, and structural engineers for integrated project delivery. Monitor and inspect site installations to ensure adherence to design, safety standards, and local codes. Manage subcontractors, schedule work, and resolve site execution issues. Support procurement of mechanical equipment and materials. Conduct testing & commissioning of mechanical systems. Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation. Ensure compliance with project timelines, quality control, and safety procedures. Assist in value engineering and design optimization.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems Familiar with relevant codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, etc.) and local building regulations Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project, and related software Excellent project management and coordination skills Strong problem-solving and communication abilities Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:

* Mechanical Engineer in Construction Sector : 3 years (Preferred)
