Mechanical Engineer - Consultancy (Building & Infrastructure Projects)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Mechanical Engineer

to join our consultancy team in

Abu Dhabi

, specializing in

building and infrastructure projects

. The ideal candidate will have strong

design experience

, knowledge of

wastewater management systems

, and prior exposure to

PMC (Project Management Consultancy)

environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support the

mechanical design

of building and infrastructure projects in accordance with international and local standards. Review and approve

design drawings, material submittals, and technical reports

submitted by consultants and contractors. Oversee

mechanical systems

related to HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and

wastewater management

. Coordinate with

multidisciplinary teams

to ensure smooth project execution and integration of all mechanical systems. Conduct

site inspections

to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards. Provide

technical guidance and design review

support in line with PMC roles and responsibilities. Participate in

value engineering reviews

and contribute to project planning, budgeting, and scheduling. Ensure all designs and implementations adhere to

Abu Dhabi regulations and sustainability requirements

.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in

Mechanical Engineering

(Master's preferred). Minimum

7-10 years of experience

in building and infrastructure projects, preferably within a

consultancy or PMC environment

. Proven experience in

mechanical design

and

wastewater management systems

. Strong knowledge of

UAE codes, DEWA/ADDC/ADSSC standards

, and international engineering practices. Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills. Proficiency in relevant design software (AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC design tools, etc.).

Preferred Attributes:

Previous experience working on

government or large-scale infrastructure projects

in Abu Dhabi. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: AED15,000.00 per month
