Key Responsibilities:

As part of the Engineering Department, you will be responsible for a range of technical and production-related tasks, including:

1. Pricing & Estimation

Accurate cost estimation for jobs (target accuracy: 80%)

2. Nesting File Preparation for Machines

Nesting for sheet, tube, and beam laser cutting using CAD/CAM software

3. Production Timing & Reporting

Develop time schedules and report progress and efficiency

4. 3D Modeling, Editing & Revisions

Design and update 3D models using SolidWorks or similar software

Implement revisions based on project or client feedback

5. Custom Product Design

Design solutions based on individual project requirements

6. Bending Drawings

Prepare accurate 2D/3D technical drawings for CNC bending operations

7. Quality Control & Approval

Perform QC checks and obtain final engineering approval before production

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in metal fabrication or related industry

Proficiency in SolidWorks and nesting software (e.g., SigmaNEST or similar)

Familiarity with sheet metal, tube, and beam processing

Strong understanding of CNC bending and laser cutting principles

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Team player with excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the UAE or GCC market

Knowledge of production workflows and industrial reporting
