We are looking for a qualified
Mechanical Design Engineer
with solid experience inFirefighting and HVAC systems
to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing mechanical designs, preparing technical documentation, and coordinating with various disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed mechanical designs, drawings, and calculations for Firefighting and HVAC systems. Develop layouts, schematics, and system specifications in line with project requirements. Perform heat load calculations, pump sizing, ducting design, and hydraulic calculations. Coordinate with electrical, civil, and project management teams for multidisciplinary integration. Ensure compliance with international and local standards (NFPA, ASHRAE, Qatar Civil Defense, etc.). Review vendor/subcontractor technical submittals and shop drawings. Provide engineering support during execution, installation, testing, and commissioning stages.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 - 8 years
of experience in Mechanical Design, specifically in Firefighting and HVAC. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, HAP/Block Load, and hydraulic calculation tools. Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.Job Type: Full-time
