About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled
Mechanical Design Engineer
with expertise inBuilding Maintenance Units (BMU)
to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving BMU systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop
BMU systems
includingcradles, monorails, davits, and telescopic booms
. Perform detailed3D modeling and 2D drafting
using software such asSolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor
. Conductstructural and mechanical analysis
to ensure durability, stability, and safety. Collaborate with cross-functional teams includingelectrical engineers, structural engineers, and project managers
. Perform calculations forload capacity, wind resistance, and stress analysis
. Create and reviewtechnical drawings, specifications, and design documentation
. Ensure compliance withISO, EN 1808, OSHA, and other safety and quality standards
. Support manufacturing and installation teams withtechnical guidance and troubleshooting
. Conductrisk assessments and failure mode analysis
. Research and implementnew technologies and innovative design solutions
to improve BMU efficiency.Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or related field.3+ years of experience
in mechanical design, preferably inBMU, facade access systems, or lifting equipment
. Proficiency in3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar)
. Strong knowledge ofstructural mechanics, kinematics, and material selection
. Understanding ofsafety regulations and engineering standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and project management skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in
hydraulic and electromechanical systems
. Familiarity withfabrication processes such as welding, machining, and assembly
. Knowledge ofautomation and control systems
used in BMU.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED4,500.00 per month
