Job Description

The Role

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor). o Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations to develop designs. o Modify and revise drawings based on engineer feedback and design changes. o Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation for manufacturing and assembly. o Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines. o Coordinate with engineers, fabricators, and other departments for seamless project execution. o Maintain an organized drawing database and update drawing records as required. o Perform site visits or liaise with the production team when necessary for dimension verification or troubleshooting.

Requirements

Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field. o 2+ years of experience as a mechanical draftsman or in a similar role. o Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar. o Good knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and material properties. o Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. o Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills. o Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
