Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Create 3D BIM Models. Coordinate all aspects for mechanical system. Update the BIM model in a biweekly or monthly basis Perform clash detection and resolve all clashes. Manage and coordinate external 3D presentations to the client. Revit modeling for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines. Work under direction of design professionals and BIM manager. Ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline Revit modeling. Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines design-changes and model challenges. Adhere to Revit project workflow criteria. Follow Revit content standards and development procedures. May take the lead on developing some discipline-specific Revit modeling content for project. Print drawing sets for professional teams and participate in discipline reviews. Prepare own discipline model and/or content for Revit coordination meetings. Ability to export DWF and other formats for collaboration internally and externally. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: 5 years of minimum experience. Excellent understanding of BIM procedures, strategies, and workflow. Proficient in Revit is a must. Experience with Navis works or Synchro or any other competitive software would be a plus. Design experience would be desirable Strong written, verbal communication in English is essential EDUCATION & TRAINING: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma VERTICAL: DIGITAL ENGINEERING
