We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced

Mechanical BIM Design Engineer

to join our design team.

The Mechanical BIM Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and coordinating mechanical designs for building services using Revit and other BIM tools. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design, with demonstrable experience in the UAE market and a solid understanding of local codes and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed mechanical design drawings and BIM models for HVAC, water supply, drainage, and fire protection systems using Revit and AutoCAD. Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines. Ensure compliance with local UAE standards, codes, and client specifications. Participate in design reviews, clash detection, and coordination meetings. Support senior engineers in the preparation of technical reports, calculations, and tender documentation. Maintain up-to-date documentation and contribute to BIM standards and workflows within the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in the UAE working on consultancy projects. Strong proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM workflows. Solid knowledge of UAE regulations, DEWA, DM, and other authority requirements. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of sustainable design (LEED or Estidama experience a plus). Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
