Job Description
Coretrax are looking for a Mechanical Assistant to join our team in the UAE. This is a full-time role based in Abu Dhabi, with travel required within UAE. The Mechanical Assistant is responsible for assisting in day-to-day operational tasks, mechanical assembly and dismantles, cleaning of parts and general workshop duties. The Mechanical Assistant is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
- Assisting in dismantle and assembly of tools
- Washing and Cleaning of parts and tools.
- Assisting in day to day operational tasks as required.
- Work in safe manner as trained and keep work area clean.
- Participate in toolbox meetings to plan daily tasks.
- Adhere to all company procedures and policies
- Compliance with company HSE as applicable
- Report any hazards, incidents, near misses correctly and in timely manner.
- Highly motivated and organised
- Good team working skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Hands-on mechanical experience/aptitude
- Good interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer awareness
- Able to demonstrate the ability to a willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to problem solve, multi-task and work to tight deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable
- Have strong commitment towards QHSE
- Have a clear commitment to the Company and its success
- Forklift experience and licence
