Job title: Mechanical Technician

Education: Technical/Engineering.

Work experience: At least 3 years in same field.

Gender: Male.

Age: less than 34.

Language: English (Intermediate level).

Skills:

1. Ability to understand mechanical processes and systems.

2. Should be able to perform tasks with precision and attention to detail.

3. Good communication skills to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and vendors

4. Should be able to quickly adapt and work well in fast-paced environments.

5. Understanding and practicing industry-specific safety procedures.

6. Flexibility, should be able to work in night or day shift and able to work to work overtime.

Knowledge:

1. A good understanding of pumps, compressors, valve actuators, heater, boilers, fans and other machinery commonly used in the oil industry.

2. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as welding, machining, assembly, and fabrication.

3. Knowledge of technical blueprints, diagrams, and engineering specifications.

4. Familiarity with the tools, materials, and equipment used in mechanical repair and maintenance.

5. Familiarity with blow molding machine troubleshooting and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

1. Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems for equipment in oil and gas operations.

2. Complying with industry-specific safety standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Inspect, diagnose, and maintain mechanical parts and equipment to ensure they function correctly and meet industry standards.

4. Provide technical support for maintenance and repair activities.

5. Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure that they are working efficiently and safely.

6. Document maintenance activities and repairs on equipment.

7. Keep inventory of tools and parts, and ensure their safe storage and disposal.

8. Work closely with other technical teams to ensure that equipment and machinery maintenance efforts are coordinated and effective.
