Marine Engine Mechanic / Technician

Job Description
Job Purpose
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair inboard/outboard marine engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary equipment to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair marine diesel/gasoline engines, gearboxes, propeller shafts, and fuel systems. Perform preventive maintenance, engine overhauls, and performance testing. Interpret technical drawings and service manuals for fault identification. Maintain service records and ensure compliance with marine safety standards. Provide on-site emergency repairs for yachts, boats, or commercial vessels.
Qualifications
Diploma/Certificate in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Technology. 3-5 years' experience with outboard/inboard marine engines (Yanmar, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta, etc.). Knowledge of IMO safety regulations and class requirements is an advantage.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: As per company standards. Health insurance and other benefits as per UAE Labor Law.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
