Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment.
Perform routine maintenance on pumps, valves, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
Dismantle, clean, and assemble mechanical parts.
Ensure all repairs are completed to industry and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of work orders and repairs.
Follow workshop safety procedures and report any issues.
Collaborate with supervisors and other technicians.
Qualifications and Experience
Technical diploma or certification in mechanical trade.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic (preferably in oil & gas or industrial settings).
Experience with rotating equipment, pressure testing, and precision tools.
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
Skills Required:
Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
Familiarity with workshop tools and equipment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
