Job Description
TASK Energy, Oman is looking for a Mechanic Helper to join our team. JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE: Assisting the mechanic for cleaning and servicing the Unit equipment Responsibilities:
- Wash, clean exterior/interior of units and pickups, including removal of sand, grease, and dust.
- Maintain the inventory of tools and equipment.
- Load out the equipment from the units after returning from the field.
- Cleaning the equipment and report any issues to the mechanic.
- Checking and doing the regular servicing of the equipment after cleaning and greasing
- Add the equipment to the inventory and do the paperwork for movement of equipment from Unit to the inventory.
- Assist the field team in getting the post equipment checklist done.
- Load in the equipment into the unit after checking before the field team mobilizes.
- Maintain all the equipment used in the field jobs.
- Successfully maintain equipment, diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain equipment in a shop environment.
- Safely assemble and disassemble components and equipment according to the manufacturer\xe2\x80\x99s specifications.
- Maintain tool requirements.
- Accurately complete service reports and provide the details to complete work orders.
- Keep your work areas clean and free of hazards; correct unsafe conditions when encountered and report those that you can\xe2\x80\x99t personally correct to mechanic.
- Comply with all safety aspects of your position.
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair, and maintenance
- Requires the ability to understand and retain information provided verbally and in writing.
- Basic Knowledge of operating computer system
- Ability to write and communicate in English language.
- High School degree or Diploma or ITT
- Experience in working with mechanic or similar field.
