Ensure all meals meet nutritional standards based on current dietary guidelines.
Analyze ingredients and nutritional content using software or nutritional databases.
Adjust plans in response to client progress, health feedback, or changes in dietary guidelines.
3. Client and Team Collaboration
Work closely with dietitians, nutritionists, chefs, and fitness professionals to align meal plans with broader health and wellness goals.
Conduct client consultations to gather preferences, allergies, goals, and feedback.
4. Education and Support
Educate clients on healthy eating habits, portion control, food labels, and grocery shopping.
Provide guidance and resources such as recipes, shopping lists, and food preparation tips.
5. Program Management
Oversee the implementation and execution of meal plan programs across departments or client groups.
Monitor adherence to plans and adjust as needed based on tracking data and outcomes.
6. Quality and Compliance
Ensure all meals and meal plans comply with relevant food safety standards and health regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nutrition research, food labeling laws, and dietary trends.
7. Inventory and Cost Management
Collaborate with procurement teams to source ingredients based on meal plans.
Help manage budgets and control food costs while maintaining nutritional quality.
8. Reporting and Documentation
Track and document client progress, plan effectiveness, and satisfaction.
Generate regular reports for management, clients, or healthcare providers as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Public Health, or a related field.
Certification in nutrition (e.g., RD, RDN, or certified nutritionist) is preferred.
Experience in meal planning, food service, or nutritional program management.
Strong knowledge of dietary requirements, food allergies, and special diet accommodations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using meal planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
