Job Description

The purpose of this position is to provide safe and effective maintenance cleaning and landscaping services for Dubai Metro.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out cleaning on the building and structure exterior of Dubai Metro such as stations, ancillary buildings and depots as assigned and undertake the cleaning of special areas and at heights where required.
• Carry out Level 1 & 2 maintenance activities on the cleaning equipment such as the mobile boom, abseiling and high-pressure cleaning machine.
• Respond to incidents on the building and structure that require specific cleaning expertise in a timely and efficient manner.
• Follow applicable procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records of cleaning the building, structure, cleaning equipment and other information using a computerized maintenance management system.
• Ensure the maintenance tools and equipment's are in good condition.
• Assist the MCG Technical Auditor or other technical support staff to identify different types of cleaning methods including cleaning and restoration treatments.
• Perform line side activities, Pest Control and Platform Screen Door cleaning.
• Assist the MCG Technical Auditor in carrying out all aspects of landscaping activities, such as tree pruning, lawn care, hedge trimming, application of fertilizer and agriculture goods, earth grading and drainage and sprinkler system maintenance in addition to managing landscape waste.
• Follow the appropriate landscaping procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records of landscapes, landscape condition reports, work accomplished and other information.
• Ensure the maintenance tools and equipment are in good condition.
• Perform shift and emergency duties when required.
• Perform and carry out other duties as instructed/directed by the MCG Technical Auditor.

• Should possess good/basic understanding of cleaning techniques or landscape procedures and tools.
• Should have basic knowledge of safe working practices.

• Able to write simple technical reports, and prepare method statements and drawings as required.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

• A mature, methodical and responsible approach to work.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in cleaning, landscaping or Facilities field.
• Understand and with experience in adhering to structured work instructions Ability to work unsupervised.

• Mush hold a higher secondary certificate (12th), vocational trade certificate, and/or diploma in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline.
