The tutor will play an essential role in helping the student develop confidence in numbers, patterns, operations, and problem-solving through interactive and child-friendly teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with the IB PYP Grade 1 curriculum.
Teach foundational concepts such as counting, shapes, patterns, measurements, and simple operations.
Use hands-on activities, visual resources, and inquiry-based approaches.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents.
Maintain a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
Ensure punctuality and consistency in scheduled sessions.
Requirements
Must be located in the Manama region
for in-person tutoring (mandatory).
Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Early Years, or a related field (preferred).
Experience teaching or tutoring young learners (Grade 1).
Knowledge of the
IB PYP framework
is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood learning.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the child's learning style.
