Mathematics Teacher
Position: Mathematics Teacher (Secondary/Pre-University Level)
Curriculum: British Curriculum (GCSE, IGCSE, A-Levels preferred)
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Mathematics Teacher to inspire and challenge our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the British curriculum and a proven track record of fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for mathematics. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and preparing students for external examinations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Mathematics for assigned grades.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the British curriculum objectives.
• Foster a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and promotes high expectations for all students.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Prepare students for external examinations (e.g., GCSE, IGCSE, A-Levels).
• Integrate technology effectively into the mathematics curriculum.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide training events.
• Contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school (e.g., math clubs, competitions).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a related field. A Master's degree or teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, specifically with the British curriculum.
• Valid Ministry of Education (MoE) Approval is mandatory.
• Proven experience teaching at GCSE and A-Level/IGCSE is essential.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates currently residing in Ajman or Sharjah are preferred.
